Title: Gale on the way to Greenland

61:44.5N 35:50.0W

Half way across the stretch of water between Iceland and Greenland, otherwise known as the Denmark Straight. We left with a forecast warning of a deepening low to the south of our path - that meant some good wind from the North/ North East to blow us all the way to our destination.
For 24hrs we have had rough seas and strong winds - 30kts.
We were sailing downwind with our two headsails poled out. Now we altered course directly to where we want to go and some genoa out and a scrap of main.
230 miles to go. Expecting the weather to calm later tonight or by morning.
