We got up to a foggy wet morning to find that Kali's cold had kept her up all night and neither Harvey or I were enthusiastic about setting forth into the drizzle so we have stayed put today and got on with some jobs whilst Kali slept off her cold. I've been playing with my new video camera and learning how my SD cards work with my computer. I have also been doing a spot of fishing, dangling my rod over the side of the boat with a limpet bait (a pretty yucky thing to stick a hook through)- so far no luck but I am enjoying the faffing about with bits of tackle! Harvey has been trying to fix the boat charger with limited success and has been pouring over complicated looking manuals all day. We had a forecast and it looks like we should have some calm weather for the next few days so it will be good to get on our way again tomorrow and head up to meet Greg in Stornoway. I am looking forward to getting internet access and a phone signal when we get there, it has been a bit strange being out of touch for the last couple of days. I feel like I am getting more used to the whole idea of being on a journey and have more space in my head to relax and wonder what everyone at home is up to, what's been happening with the political situation and more importantly who has been voted off American Idol!
Missin yall! Andrea
