Steve,,

seems like we are now starting to have to eat the carcus of this huge elephant and it is a bit dificult to digest,,,

Still big mile stone today. 2 decimal places and within the next 24 hours we will hopefully site land for the first time since leaving La Gomera,, I hope it is Antigua..

Our families have already set up camp there and we cant wait to see them,,

We had a visitor in the early hours of the morning. Kev, our trutsty sea bird friend, decided to formally introduce himself and htich a ride through the rough old night,  He also confessed (in fluent english of course) it was he who bashed into the side of our boat the night previous,, He said he was practicing landing and got it wrong..

He sat on the gunwhale right next to me while i was rowing.. Nice to have a change in company even if it was a seabird,, He left when i wasn't looking and did not even say goodbye..

Also we made a ship alter course on the high seas today by setting  off a white flare to alert our position,, We do not know if we had let it run its course whether there would have been a collision, but we would rather not know the outcome of that scenatrio...

Oh, it all happens out here!!!
