steve
OK let me put this another way,,,
I pretty well guessed i would be slammed for presenting what appeared to be a negative blog yesterday,, BUT i did put it all into context of our distance already covered,, and soon, hopefully, mid morning we will be into a two decimal figure sum,,

We have done the four decimals, then three and tomorrow,, two,, how amazing is that, are we excited ,, abosutely!!!! and you could not even begin to imagine how excited we are getting as we near the last few miles..

The endurance has in some instances been almost unbearably overwhelming and on these occassions, as you cannot see beyond your immediate horizon this perhaps is as far as you should concentrate efforts.. This still remains the same, but if having now taking so much time and energy getting this far the last bit does not seem to get easier,,

Perhaps it a bit like having a large meal and the waiter offers you 'A waffer thin mint' of course you do not resist but at what cost,, We are not quite on the mints yet,, but nearly,,, and almost ready to explode with both joy and proabably exhaustion,,... Hopefully the former,,,

Made good ground today

A bird flew into the side of our boat last night which must of scared the living daylights out itself, cos it did me,, In actual fact, there are no sounds out here other than the wind and crashing seas and the sounds we make ouselves.. SO, when this bird flew into the side of the boat, it made a horrendous screeching sound,, this was a very alien noise.. thanks bird (if still alive) for reminding me there are other sounds around...

see yas all soon

Have great ski holiday to Sam Jordan and Family,, Thanks Sam for arranging fab parties for us nutty rowers,,,  Thank  Simon also for letting Sam spend so much time organising those parties,,,,
