i would like to send birthday wishes to three special people today from the high seas....

firstly Pippa Wellwood,, Pippa is going to be 7 years old. She lives in sommerset and manages a sheep farm a brother called sam and mummy and daddy. The sheep are well behaved and easy to lool after but Pippa is having a it of touble with the others... they  just don't listen....

The next birthday wish is to Aden Bennet who lives in Ashtead with her big brother Nicolas who is good and cricket and football and his big sister Rosanna.. Rosanna looks after Aden all the time... Mummy is always busy and Daddy plays too much golf....

I must mention the last birthday cos my conscience will not let it go.. It is a belated Public announcement that i forgot my Lovely wifes birthday on the 8th Jan..heres a BIG sorry i did nt mention earlier...  however not truly forgotten just ont the day i pre arranged some flowers but they were delayed being delivered due to bad weather..     is this so bad or wil be forgiven... it is for the public to decide.....

Ok some questions answeres,
my bum is fine,, richards i leave to him but do believe it to not a problem,, metanium worked a treat and only needed intermittently,, i sometimes row on my rowing seat without any cushion which surprises me other times i will roll up a micropore towel and sit on that,,, mix things up a bit, same for hands sometimes gloves other times naked hands,,,,, i have some muscle tension building in top middle back which is being generated from surfing the waves using small muscle groups in my shoulders,, pain is temporary thing a bit like giving birth i guess... which moves me nicely onto the big question of why i am doing this... right now and many times on the journey thus far i am not too sure,,, i would be lying if i said it was all fun,,, night times are special when thoughts can roam, day times are hot a pondersome and draining.. the scenerey is as you can imagine!!!! although every shift or day brings a set of seas with its own memories and atmosphere...,  for instance last night i was convincing mysell i was rowing through a wildlife sancturay park... Mmmm wild life is mimimal, but when you do see it, like the shark yesterday, you sundenly feel right alive with excitement, or terror.... however,  i think the creatures are scaredof us.

yes suncream is also worn against the sun,  it is HOT... and no escape....
our clothes all almost always damp and as i took cotton mostly this isn not good ,,, systhetics would be better for any of you thinking of this as a project.. i will be pleased to offer assistance and or advice... in have been avoiding the question as to why!!!! NO not to win, correct....it is mostly a curiosity or intrigue sort of thing..  probably  a bit like having a baby, you know its gonna hurt for a long time but still choose to do it... this is much easier anyway,, this is only for a couple of months, children last for ever,,,,.  is that a poor analalgy... probably!!.

ps Knee fine, thanks Veronique and Brian.

A bit from Richard....it is HOT hot today and it's a big problem trying to type the blog from a boiling hot cabin...especially for a ginger bloke such as myself, will need to update you all tomorrow as am about to boil over ;-)
