Rich...
After two months of this rowing adventure, the physical punishment is starting to take it's toll on me personally. It's a landmark that we've just broken into the prescription drugs to sort out the daily aches and pains. Diclofenac is the first one for me, it's used for inflammation of muscles and is being used to sort out a muscle pull that I got last night from trying to push too hard to make use of the great Easterly winds we have...combined with bad posture (Cath, sorry I wan't sitting up straight..had slouched into lazy office worker pose).
I don't think we've done too bad at all to get this far without the big guns of the prescription world...the bid bad analgesics go untouched. The trick with avoiding injury seems be to mix things up...alternate clothing arrangements, alternates gloves/pads...keep the body guessing ;-) The one thing that I'm really surprised about is that I've used the same gel pad for the whole journey, without the aid of fancy expensive cushions or sheepskin rugs....just me and my trusty gel pad on the wooden seat...it's a miracle (and one I hope sees me to the finish line)...here's a plug "use JL Race Pads, they're great, one is all you need to last and ocean"

Oh, we've broken the 700 mile barrier in some style and are currently a respectable 689 miles from Antigua :-)
