The obvious questions at this stage is...what is so
special about the 29th as a new start date? and will the race get off on time?
But I see a glimmer of hope :-) Putting on my amateur weather forecaster hat...I
think I spot a high pressure system building over the united states...which
leads me to believe that the new date could be viable.
Being back at work this week is difficult, as it's
a completely unexpected scenario, but great in it's own right. Sitting here
looking out onto the garden the first flurry of snow has started and
it's difficult not to enjoy being back for Christmas. The problem is
we've left our presents on the boat in Gomera...so I think we'll be having a new
'boat christmas' in the new year.
We fly back on the 27th December to get prepared
for the race.
