Hello All,

Clearing into Mackay yesterday turned out to be a fine; they were very friendly and apart from the quarantine guy, very efficient. Miss Molly got hosed down to get rid of most of the sea salt we had collected under way. Had a great nice sleep and were eager and ready to rise early again today to do the last 70 miles to Airlie Beach in the Whitsunday's. Well that bit about eager and ready is a lie of course!

At least the sea had stopped being so rolly. The weather was not that great, but dry and not cold. Miraculously though, we seemed to be sailing under a sunny spot no matter where we went, while ahead of us and behind us it seemed all grey. We took it as a good sign. Nice to see some land and islands around us as well instead of just the vast blue ocean.

We arrived at Airlie Beach in the afternoon, where we parked Miss Molly in her dedicated berth for the next 3 months. She deserves to get the full spa treatment here after all the good work she has done, getting us there safely.

We will have another early night tonight and tomorrow we will start the big tidy up!

Cheers from your crew,

Geoff, Merel & James
