Exactly 3 months after making landfall in French Polynesia we have now set
sail again for destinations further West and South. The weather was just
perfect, so we did not want to loose the opportunity to benefit from that.

We left Bora Bora at 13:30 and had Maupiti abeam around 17:00. As soon as we
left Bora Bora we were waved off by a small group of boobies circling us. We
are having a great downwind sail doing above 8 kts and there is a full moon. A great start.
Let's hope it will stay that way all the 1260 miles to Neiafu in the Vava'u
Island group of the kingdom of Tonga! If this weather keeps up we will cast
out the fishing line tomorrow morning. We will keep you posted!
