Luckily yesterday's rain finally dried out. The skies got clearer and
clearer and we ended up with a starry night and some good moonlight. Very
pleasant. Also good progress.

This morning the wind backed further towards the NE so we poled out the
headsail again. For hours now we are expecting the wind to drop, as
forecasted, but so far that is not happening. If this wind keeps up we will
arrive at Fakarava before daylight!

Not only did the weather improve over the last 24 hours, but so did the
fishing. First there was a tuna on the line this morning, but since we are
not too much into that, it got thrown back into the sea. But a few hours
later the line went again. On it was our first Pacific Wahoo. And what a big
one it was! About 5 ft and once filleted and bagged we could count 30
portions of fish. We felt like Miss Molly had turned into a fish processing
vessel! The freezer is full again with our wahoo parked in there. We will
definitely try some tonight and keep you posted on the comparison with the
dorado's we've been having so far.

Cheers,
Geoff & Merel
