It was a really sunny day today, with enough wind to be sailing at a decent
speed, 7+ knots. Progress is always good for the state of mind of the crew,
so we were humming, fishing line in the water, moving along nicely. While we
were trimming the sails Geoff spotted a fish swimming alongside the boat. A
small tuna. And another one, and more.... There turned out to be a whole
school of small tuna's to be swimming along with us, most of them at the
bow, like they were dolphins. Only they did not break the surface. Those
clever things decided not to go for our lure, but just for the shade of the
hull! Good thing, because we would rather catch a dorado than a tuna.

The night has set in and we are motorsailing again. The winds have
gotten lighter and we have to get there somehow. No longer downwind though,
the wind is more from the North. Let's hope it picks up a bit more to give
us a nice final blast towards Tonga! Only 225Nm to go.

Cheers,
Geoff & Merel
