Geoff had been very busy already by the time Merel woke up yesterday. He had
put the fishing line out, caught a small dorado within 20 minutes, cleaned
it and put it in the freezer. That gave us the whole day to think about what
to do with the fish for dinner. There was not much else to do, since Miss
Molly was sailing gently on this sunny day with lighter winds, still using
the current to our advantage. Despite the lighter airs we still had a good
24 hour run: 207 Nm.

In the end we decided on cubing, breading and seasoning the dorado dices and
panfry them in olive oil. Some rice and haricots on the side and of course a
bit of sweet chilli sauce. Yummy, that went down well! Looking forward to
the next dorado meal!

We are currently motoring since the winds are now even lighter. Everything
was slatting, the headsail and the mainsail. With the engine on we are still
making good progress - it's just a bit noisier. The forecast seems to be
light airs until Friday 4 July, but we hope we can turn the engine off
before that!

Salty greetings,
Geoff & Merel
