Last night we were moving in the company of 4 white
tropic birds. They did not squeak or snap, they were just flying around us for
hours and hours. They must have felt encouraged and protected by the big white
wings flying on Miss Molly. Normally
seabirds land on deck or on the dinghy to have a rest and play stowaway. But not
these 4, they just flew alongside, just as fast as we were moving.
Yesterday was grey & miserable, but today the
sun is out. We are still motorsailing South in order to catch the wind at the
right angle. We feel we can't be far off it, but seeing is believing. The seas
have eased a lot, so today is definitely a better day out here!
Cheers,
Geoff & Merel
