We are glad to report that as of 23.00 local last
night we have been sailing along at 8-9 knots. The wind finally backed more into
the SSE and made it possible to lay the course.
Great sailing conditions with 12-15 knots of breeze
and calm seas. The wind has picked a bit more this afternoon, along with the
sea's, but also has backed a touch more as per predictions so all is
well.
At 14.00 local we have 360 miles to go to Santa
Cruz and should be in on Friday sometime if these conditions hold.
Cheers for now
