Midnight coordinates and technical:
COG: 246T
SOG: ~5-6 knts
WIND: NNW ( ~ 345-355 T ), ~ 10-12 knts
Somewhere 185 nm from Minorca  ( if to trust the computer )...

As we past the Sardinia NW point, the picture did not look promising – no wind,   long medium swell,  and beautiful skies...   The sea has not been flat  -- as the previous night...  But long and relatively high swell, will no single ripple of wind on top – did not promised 'any progress’ for sailing boat...

Had to start the ‘diesel wind generator’ – first, we did need to move,  and secondly,  after the previous long day with solar panels in shadow,  the batteries were uncharged...
Giving up to figure out from the wind forecasts if any wind going to be... we wished with the boat ‘good nights’, and went to sleep...

Shortly after 0100 local time,  the sliding dishes in the kitchen and the sliding bucket of water on the floor announced that the wind arrived...  And it did!  And as usual – very enthusiastic, very fresh... from completely unexpected direction... All 15 knots of it!

So,  now – all three of us enjoying a beautiful night!

Everything good, rare moment when the captain and the crew are on the same page and are not arguing with each other and the boat!

Have a great night,
Michael.
