 From the Maritmietraffic:
ELEONORA arrived at
Port PUERTO DEPORTIVO ALM
at 2018-10-04 13:35 Local Time (2018-10-04 11:35 UTC)
After more then 48 hours… we finally made it. We are in Almerimar.

I should admit — somehow I’m feeling I’m in a right place.

First and for most — the staff of the marina is exceptionally friendly and supportive.

The docking is Mediterranean style,  stern back. I knew that up front — I’have been there with the dinghy before…  So, mentally — I’ve been prepared.
As I arrived at the first place — though it is beautiful, gorgeous,  In front of all houses… — I rejected it for a simple reason. It was  too tight, and I did not want to make damages to any boats… No problem.   Marineros  navigated me to another place, which  was also good… I managed to back the boat, and shortly after the boat was secured…  The engine went off…
The leg is over…

At 1600  I reported my arrival to the office. The port captain — or what so ever  — extremely knowledgable, answered all my questions… filled the documents, forms…
So we are all done!   ( Except payment…  ) The conversation was like that:
“ — seems you are not sure what you would like to do… 6 months  or 3 months…  Now, when you have all options — take your time.  We are working here every day!
Plus, everything was done so quickly, so professionally…  I’ve been really amazed!
Oh, yes,  Of course… They did not take payment for the term yet…. But asked — and received — 5 euro deposit for the plastic key to the toilet and shower room… ;-)
My papers were taken in, photocopied, and filed!
I got the answer — if I’m going out of the country, I may fill the papers that the boat is ‘in bond’.  It is free, just to fill the forms… And the only limitation — I have to fill the papers that the boat is ‘out of bond’, before leaving the marina…  Kind of make sense… I can keep the boat ‘ in bond’ up to 2 years… Good to know!

First things first — visit to the supermarket,  connecting electricity — for the first time I used 220V and ‘European circuitry’ on the boat.  Works!!! ;-)
(Even though I made the 220V connection cable myself… ;-)).

It looks like the weather is a bit warmer here… then in Cartagena and Dénia.  Still hot during the day,  pleasantly warm in the evening. I guess there is a reason why the area is famous for its fruits production and produce… all year around.

How am I feel?  A bit tired.  But there is no surprise here. 48 hours leg is 48 hours with disturbed sleeping,   traffic around ,  etc, etc…  It will pass shortly.

Tomorrow is another day — starting closing, cleaning, etc. etc.  Then — small repairs, here and there…  Then — new plans…

That is all for now.
We are secured, in good place, everything is OK.

Talk to you soon.
