We are still at the same anchorage, in front of the Torrevieja ’set of marinas’.  I guess, there are 2 or 3 of them, sharing the same harbour.  But who needs a marina, if a good anchorage is available?…( There are two facts, relative to the last statement :
— my friends, who usually use the marina as available,  admitted, - ‘… It is an interesting experience.  We are on anchor, and it is really nice!  No crowds,  no other boats attached… and at the same time — the same access to the shore, the same protection… ‘
— we are really  well protected, indeed.  And everybody around — the stuff of the marina, the stuff of the small café and cable skiing installation — are unbelievably friendly — you can leave the dingy on their premises, and still they are OK with that…. Ah, Italy & Capri — there is something here for you to learn about! ;-) )

The time is flying…
We have dropped the anchor on Sunday… Today - is Friday… But the feeling is — I’ve just arrived… But when you started to think about it, you may notice that it has been a couple of cold, greyish days, with wind all over the place,   with some pouring rain… With weather forecast, which may be described in a few word— ‘ Sit still… ‘….  With no people on the water breaker ( with a beautiful promenade )… Café closed…  In short — what a Montrealer would call, ‘ A typical day of the late fall…’….

Today the picture is different.
A warm sunny day. The café on the shore is opened, and there is quite a crowd inside.
The ‘cable ski’ boutique is open too.  Some people are taking lessons — being pulled by cable on top their heads, in order to get some understanding whtat the water skiing is about …. Some more experienced guys — showing some pilotage,  making figures, etc…

The wind and the weather are playing a game… The wind is blowing perfectly from the direction if one wants to go to Almerimar…  On a beautiful beam reach…  And then, as the thought  ‘… may be I should go, really ?’ arrives,  the wind  changes, and started to blow right into your ‘hypothetical noise… ‘…  And then the same trick repeats itself  again, and again…

Community of the boats — grows slowly.
Next to us — there is a beautiful SWAN 57,  centre cockpit…  They are on their route to Almerimar area for winter, too.

The captain is also waiting for the better weather to cross the next  ~140 nm…    I checked the weather… Tomorrow seems to be a ‘good day’…  He come to the same conclusion too… —  no wind, or it would be  ‘acceptable wind’, to move towards Almerimar. At least, nothing into the face… At least, no unpleasant surprises…

But on a day like to day, a thought about the winter place sounds like a complete absurd!  What winter ?  What ‘winter place’ ?   Both SWANs are slowly and graciously taking the light breeze, moving their masts slowly…  From the shore,  from the level of the bar, where the picture above has been taken from,  the message sounds clear - ‘ Our masters are nuts!  We should sail!  Do you know what winter they are talking about ?! …’ ….

A quick trip to Mercadona on shore… Fresh bread, some fruits, some wine…. Do I really need to leave ?  To motor/to sail  to a ‘winter flat’ ? Should I wait to the ‘real weather window’ all the way to Almerimar ?

Tomorrow is another day.  We will see!

Everything is good on board.

Talk to you soon.
