460 nm gone...
We started to get Westerliers,   the boat is dressed in gennaker.  We are still motor sailing, but the wind has been slowly picking up during the day, providing long time waited breeze...

According the grib files I have -- we are crossing the High ridge, and actually on another side of it.  The goal -- to get 2 more degrees of Latitute, and then we should be fine with real  West wind... hopefully not too much...

And that is where the gambling started at the moment...  We have passed one high already, and there is another high ahead, North of us... The trick I have in mind -- do turn 'left' ( meaning East ), and to pass between them, towards North, ~26 degrees...  And then the route to the East should be clear...
But the devil as always in details... In our case -- how accurate the grip files are ( the passage is really narrow ), and timing... before it will go to collapse...   Weather man said -- go straight North... forget it...  But that would be too borring motor sailing --  as my friend uses to say...

Everything is under control and fine.  We are doing consistently about 5.5 knts today,  our course is about 53M,  and the wind is starting to stabilized at ~275M...

Until next time,
M
