The same anchorage in San Antonio. Seems like we come here yesterday…
But it is difficult to argue with the calendar… And 10 days  passed by very quickly….

10 days ?! What have you been doing in that place ?!  How do you manage to survive ?!

Those are good questions, indeed….  I do not have a real answer…  All the days so far have been very similar, and at the same time — very different, with some events… which makes the life on boat special…

Mornings…
The Sun is up, but the city/town/village — depends where you originally coming from — is still sleepy….

That is my best time of the day…  A fresh start… No disturbances yet, no broken or not accomplished plans yet…
The first sounds of waking up city started to appear…  the tractor on beach, cleaning the sand, the first cars moving…  But those are weak yet… and you can still hear the voice of the late rooster, coming from somewhere far in the mountains…

Even the fishes are still moving slowly around,  and even the waves have not waken up yet, and the challenges of the day ahead are promising to be crystal clear  as the image of the flag in the water….

My best time of the day…  I can seat on deck, zip my first coffee, and enjoy each millisecond of  this short moment….

The evenings…  I guess it is the tradition of each place, located on the coast where you can see the Sun set in the Ocean or the Sea — to gather on the best place to watch the Sun going behind horizon….  It would be impossible to allocate the main promenade of San Antonio in better angle  for watching the Sun set….  ( Only the anchorage, obviously… But that is the special case…. ;-)):

As soon as the last dot of the Sun disk disappears behind horizon,  the loud applauses are coming from the shore…  The crowd — which has been watching the movement of celestial body suddenly gets on the move…   The bars surrounding the harbour get filled, music started,  the night failed down on San Antonio….

The time between morning and evening…
Cleaning, repairing, e-mails, visits to town….

And then… the growing feeling that is even difficult to explain.  But I know — it is time to raise the anchor, and to go sailing….  15 miles, 20 miles — or just around the harbour… Does not matter….
So, we raise the anchor and went to Formentera….  Awesome experience…. But all that the next story….

Everything is fine on board.
Talk later,
M.
