5 years of the journe...

39:31.541N 002:33.078E October 30, 2021… Todays is the 30th of Octorber… Exactly this day, 5 years ago, around 0800, I dropped the lines of mooring in James Town, RI, and started my first leg of the journey, to Little Creek, Norfolk…. They say, ’the rest is a history…’… That is very true !… Norfolk, crossing to BVI, all BVI, Caribbean down, Columbia, back to Caribbean, Azores, Falmouth UK, Atlantic Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, the Med… The time and miles under the keel changed a lot ! The views, ideas, the approach to the world around… and the way I accept what the World is throwing at me… A lot of new people, visiting quite a few countries…. Some stories are here, in this blog… All of them in the memory and in the heart… Me and the boat is 2016 and today — so different!!!! But there are things which are invariant over time and space! Today, I would like to repeat what I said after coming for a short visit to Montreal, in December 2016 . This trip would be NOT possible without fantastic shore team I had! It is a very grey day today here, where I’m — one of the first Mallorca storms are covering us with the boat… The photos I’m looking at — bring warms, stability and light! As 5 years ago, I’m saying ‘ Thank you!’ . My glass is for you! Without you, this trip would never happen! And the history — would be different… The only thing which I can add to what I said 5 years ago… “… All of you, each of you, are in my heart, and you are remembered in the middle on the Mediterranean!
