The day here is coming to its conclussion.
So far -- no complains.  Most of the day -- we have been sailing, with a nice breeze,  on a port quarter.

We made a progress... I'm judging so based on the fact that I'm viewing the land ahead. Wih binoculas it is even a bit closer...  But one thing for sure -- the Land.   The estimation suggest it may be Sardinia,  its South West corner...
But only the final appoach will confirm -- there is a lot of land around -- Africa,  Italy, Sicilly, France... ;-)  We will see...

As always -- the land fall has been planned to happen during the day, and it seems to happen -- as always -- in the middle of the night... I know that the land corne should bend the wind, and create some seas... That what the book says...  The weather forecast from Arome and Arpege -- are looking good!  The local warning over VHF -- gives something not good...  But I neither understand their English, no Italian,  except the general terms  about the fact it is not good...
( I understood the previous warning about resaque -- a 'wonderful' sea fenomena, when the Calas are quickly loosing the water...  This time -- about 1 meter, but in Calas on Mallorca.   It is good I've understood Spanish warning...  But today,  I would like more to understand Italian...  )

In short -- a lot of reading about potential place(s)  to drop the anchor.  Plans A, B, and C have been worked  out...  We are presently still sailing...  and have about  30 nm  ahead - to make the final decision which plan to invoke...

In short --

Wind 332-337 T, about ~10 kts // for now;
Seas: started to build up slowly,  see occasionally about ~1.8 meters,  but mostly between 1-1.3 meters
SOG: 4.9-5.0 knts
COS : 088T

Talk to you soon,
