We are right there, Arenella town.  Just bellow us — Palermo port.

Nice, short  sprint.
Dropped the anchor in front of the small harbour, with fishing boats, etc.

But the boat took my idea to learn more about boat hardware  too seriously…  I dropped all the anchor chain I wanted,  and then, as I was adjusting the last few feet…. 2 links of the chain angled, and stuck right in the entry to the boat,  after passing the windlass… I could not pull it out by windlass… and I could not pull it back in by hands…  Exactly what I need… Happy Luch Time…

But nothing I can do… The boat is in charge!!!  There are a lot of positive parts in the situation!  For example,  the anchor is already out, and holding the boat… If it had happened with not all chain I need out… it would have been the different situation…   Also, I have to learn how to deal with the situation…  I also cleaned out the chain locker — the task long time overdue….  And it took only two and  half hours — to disassemble the chain leading pipe,  to undo the ‘chain clog’,  to reassemble everything with new caulking…  And for 2 hours — I have no time to think what should I do next! ;-)
Well done, boat!!!

So, we are as close to Palermo as it may be…  We would probably stay here for a couple of days,   to make out minds where to go  and what to do next!

Everything is OK  and under control on the boat.

Talk to you soon,
M.
