It is midnight   on Greenwich… 0200 local Spanish time…

We have just passed the red sector of the light on the Capa de Gata point…

The first night of the trip probably could not be better….

Flat water… nearly no wind…  The full Moon appeared an hour ago….
On the Almeria side of the point — to the West from the point — there have been no wind at all…  And the Moon reflection was jumping on the the swell….
But as we turned around, the wind started to pick up a bit, the velvet waves transformed the Moor reflection into the Moon light road,  running towards horizon….
Deep blue sky…. Stars…
Too bad I have no possibility to make a video or photos…

We adjusted the course a bit, and trying to keep towards Cartagena… According to weather forecast, we should have enough wind now to go….
But the reality — is as always…. The wind is coming from the opposite then forecasted direction, and not enough to move us….
So, I have no choice but to motor….

I’ve been trying to be patient, and even stay quiet as the boat was doing 1.2 knots under some ’notion of air movement… ‘
But then, the big ship appeared from the dark….— ferry, going to Almeria… And it was not fun to stay in front of her,  with no possibility to manoeuvre…
So, I started the motor, and we are trying to pass the area as quickly as passible…

Everything in under control. The routine of the passage is slowly coming back.
Talk soon.

Talk to you soon,

M.
