Passage from Banda to Ambon – 3^rd to 4^th August

Distance = 133Nm.  After a late afternoon snorkel around the lava flow on Banda where Liam failed to tighten the underwater pouch for his camera, thus destroying it, we set sail at 7pm in the dark for the island of Ambon.  There was very little wind throughout the night, however Astra managed to overtake Layaleeta who set sail a couple of hours prior to our departure.  We arrived after a fairly uneventful sail at 3pm on the 4^th in Ambon where we were greeted by a very unpleasant smell from the city.
