Passage from Tual to Banda – 29^th to 30^th July

Distance = 183Nm.  Up anchor and set sail at 5pm on the 29^th.  An overnight sail and we arrived in Banda at 4pm on the 30^th.  On the morning of the 30^th, we hooked into a very large fish which seemed to resemble a shark when it came close to the boat.  Oli had the fish on for about 45 minutes.  It was far too big to bring onto the boat and the trace eventually gave way after the shark had been sitting under the boat for 20 minutes.  In hindsight, it was probably best that a fish of that size got away!
