Arrival in Porto Santo

We've arrived in Porto Santo - the small island
just to the North East of Madeira. We've travelled 427 miles through the
water and 463 over ground since Lagos. It took us 73.5 hours - an average speed
of 5.8kts through the water. And we found the 10-mile long
island.
This counts as our third milestone -
a reasonable offshore passage with just the four of us onboard. Again,
we've been lucky with the wind - on the beam for most of the way and the seas
have been moderate. Boat and crew have done well. We're now in the marina in
Porto Santo and still working our way through the 'thorough' Portugese
paper-work requirements.
There are several boats we know - Pi, Frigg
(Danish), Blue Marlin (Norwegian), Sulamit 2 (Swedish), Sarah Grace and the boat
we came down with from Lagos, Lady of Lorient (both British).
We're all well but tired.
