Tamarisk
Thu 9 Mar 2006 14:03
It took us an extra day to leave Anse Mitan because a British Virgins
superyacht hogged the water dock for most of the day. We made the most of
it with some more French cuisine. Tuesday we sailed north to St Pierre and
got there in time for a look at another volcano museum and bit more time
in the town. Early Wednesday, we headed north for Dominica and covered the
fifty five miles in about eight hours. Dominica is another 'authentic'
Caribbean island - a bit like Carriacou. We've booked a guide to take us
up the Indian River into the jungle. More follows on that.
