All set for tomorrow’s departure! We went to the fuel dock this morning to refuel. Although we were able to manoeuvre to the fuel dock without hassle we noticed an abnormal noise coming from our propeller. To put our minds at rest we asked for a diver to check the propeller. And sure enough he found two big pieces of rope that were caught around our prop! That was a relief!
Doing the last of the cleaning, laundry, cooking... As soon as we are checked out tomorrow by Customs and immigration we will be on our way to Vanuatu!
Lots of sunshine and wind today. Hopefully it will be a fast sail tomorrow.
We went to Port Denarau yesterday with Keith and Linda to see our friends Kate, Rory and little Hannah and say our goodbyes.
A last stop at the bar here in Vuda tonight to say goodbye to our friends here, a meal in the restaurant and then bed to be in good form tomorrow.
Next blog from Vanuatu!
