So here we are in the South side of Grand Cayman, moored to a mooring ball. We had to move from our previous mooring in Georgetown bay because two cold fronts are passing through and the bay is exposed to wind and swells.

Good snorkelling from this spot around the boat. Some corals and loads of coloured fish. Water temperature about 24 degrees.

Cruise liners are coming every morning, disembarking their thousands of passengers and leaving again at 3:30 in the afternoon. Sometimes we are surrounded by 6 of them. Very impressive but doesn't make us want to be one of their guest...

Grand Cayman is a small island but probably the wealthiest of all the Caribbean islands we have seen so far. Supermarkets are very similar to the ones in Florida. Everything available. Beautiful beaches. Some good restaurants. We have had good and fun lunches, drinks at the bar and dinner at the Lobster Pot.

Our friend Frank has arrived from Scotland. He had a good trip over and I think he is quite happy to be in the heat after the unusually cold winter in the UK.

Our freezer unit should be here anytime now. The fridge engineer came this morning to check the setting. Hopefully we will have a working fridge and freezer soon and can be on our way to Panama.

Robyn and Peter on SEQUELL II are moored next to us and we still have loads of good times together.

All good here and hope it is the same where you are!

Love
Catherine and Mike
