The GPS reading in front of me now reads 231.8 miles to go, we are so close now, yet the thought of another 2 nights at sea makes me happy. One by one we're beginning to accept the end is closing in, the thought of that first (of many) Rum punch also makes me happy.
Over the last 48 hours, the wind has continued to blow from the east, the boat speed has stayed fast and we've covered a lot of mileage. The moon last night was simply incredible, I've never seen it shinning so brightly before, lighting up everything from the boat all the way to the horizon.
The big news of the day is that Scutch saw a ship during his early morning watch! Believed to be a big cargo ship, this is the first real sign that civilisation is only a few days away.  This crazy little fellow from the Isle of Man is also claiming to be the Perudo champion of the world, a title that I'm not too sure about!

Our ETA into St.Lucia is late Saturday evening, however, this may change if we decided to reef the main in.  With Gulliver only half a day behind us, it would be great if we could celebrate our arrival together!
