The EJ's Voyage

Busy days lately stocking the boat up with food and drinks. That means pushing huge trolleys in the shop, then putting the load in the car, then again on yet another trolley at the marina, then transferring the lot on the water taxi and finally lifting it all on board. After unpacking and finding storage space for everything we must admit that we have felt quite knackered at night!

We are having a relaxing meal tonight at the yacht club. Red snapper for me and BBQ pork chops for Mike.

The boat is safe on her mooring. It can be a bit bumpy when big cargo go through the channel and create big waves or when the pilot boats sail through at stupidly high speed creating a big wash. However, we do enjoy watching the ships go by when we are sipping our sundowners. Always something to look at. It is quite an amazing and unusual place to be!

Hot during the day but the breeze at night is now a lot cooler. Very pleasant.

We aim to sail off to the Galapagos next Wednesday.

All well.

Love

Mike and Catherine
