The EJ's Voyage

We could have gone sailing yesterday as it was a
beautiful day but unfortunately the next front is forecast for today and it
looks like it will be a strong one. So we stayed put as at least we know that
the anchorage is good here. The weather pattern is getting a bit
tedious...
However we had great fun yesterday. We went
snorkelling with Peter and Robyn (NZ) and then discovered this fantastic
deserted beach. So we went back to the boats got steak etc and went back to
that beach for a BBQ. Our Canadians friends joined us as well.
There was a half drum on the beach that we used for
our fire. We all gathered wood, Mike lit a fire and Allan improvised a grill to
put our steak on with branches and wires. So clever. The meat was delicious
(even I say so!). The boys played with the kite. It was paradise.
Then back to the bar for a few Mojitos and
everybody came on our boat for dinner: fish pie, cabbage, aubergines and pepper.
Tricia baked a coconut pie.
At 10.30 we were all exhausted but happy to have
had such a good time.
Beautiful calm morning today but we know it won't
last very long unfortunately.
More news later
Love
Catherine and Mike
