Left Ocean World Marina in Dominican Republic last night at 5 PM. Challenging narrow passage out of the marine with huge swells due to rocks everywhere and quite a lot of wind. Hoisting the main sail took some effort especially because the haliot got caught in the spreader.

Good overnight sail and got to Sandy Cay, the most southern Turks island at 5 AM this morning. We were surprised to see that the sun doesn't rise at 6 AM here like the rest of the Caribbean so we had to wait an hour before approaching the shallow waters to drop our anchor. Fantastic immense white beach, turquoise water and we saw beautiful coral and all sorts of fish when snorkelling.

At about midday we lifted the anchor and sailed to South Caicos where we are now. We were welcome by 6 dolphins who came to play with the boat for a good 20 mn.

Mike and Cindy are ashore to clear custom (if they are still working this time of day). I stayed on board to tidy up a bit and preparing dinner for us and the Gulliver crew. Total of 8.

We are anchored in front of the small village. Very clear water and I will leave you here because I am a bit hot now sitting down below typing this so I need a swim!

Hope you are all well. Your news are always welcome as well!

Hugs
Mike and Caherinexxx
