What a beautiful day!

Sailing along under 15 kts on our beam, moderate sea at 7/7.5kts. Blue sky, very clear water.

Mike changed the oil filters in the generator this morning. I defrosted and sorted the freezer. The leak in the forward cabin seems to be under control. Books still trying to dry out on the aft deck.

We have done about 600nm so far. Providing that the weather and wind are staying like this, we estimate that we will be in the Marquises in about 17days.

Boys didn't cook last night after all. I took pity on time as they worked so hard to fix the water leak. We were all quiet tired last night. Tonight is their turn though... Pork on the menu.

We spotted a sail on the horizon yesterday afternoon. It turned out to be a boat from California that was with us in Galapagos, ENDORFIN. We caught them up and overtook them eventhough they had left San Cristobal 2 days before us. We spoke to them on the VHF. They are doing fine, they are just a much slower boat.

FALBALA seems to enjoy ploughing through the waves.

So many flying fish around, it's amazing!

All is well.

Love
Mike and Catherine
