The EJ's Voyage

These past few days will not be remembered as our most glorious sailing ones in our history!

We have been under this immense thick carpet of clouds for two days now with heavy rain downpours from time to time. Very miserable. The only thing that differentiate this from being in the Solent is the warm temperature! On the plus side, our decks are being kept clean and there is no need to water our "garden"! We are growing basil, mint, cilantro (Panamanian coriander) and of course our Buddha plant which has just exploded and is looking like a mini tree now. We are very proud of our garden which has made other sailors we've met very envious...

The long Pacific swells are rocking us sometimes not too gently (!) but otherwise the ocean is calm. No wonder with all the rain we are having!

Still motoring as we are yet to find the wind. Our latitude is 4 degrees 52' and according to the GRIB files we will have to go down to 6 degrees.

All I can say is that the Marquises are still a very long way away!!!

Otherwise all is good onboard. Had Chicken and cauliflower with homemade cheese sauce last night for dinner.

Fish on the menu tonight as Mike has caught a small but nice Mahi-Mahi early this morning!

Hopefully by the time I will write the blog tomorrow the sun will have reappeared and the wind will be blowing!

Love
