Well it's Fish Friday -
let's not worry about it being anticipated on a Thursday...after all we had
chilli surprise last night - the surprise being that it
wasn't. So another day afloat and hey! it turns out that
we aren't the only eejits out here...I came on watch at 3 am....yes...3
AM...this morning, to be told to watch out for another yacht creeping up on our
starboard side...named Valhallah....food for thought...should they have a
seriously afloat threatening experience which ends badly, given their name, they
would expect to rise up to Valhallah rather than down to greet Neptune...now
that I'd like to see. Still it was nice to see another yacht obviously
making for the same general area as ourselves, though be it along a slightly
different route.
We also came across a cruise ship heading for
Bermuda which wasn't half as exciting.
Another warm, sunny day which got a bit frisky and
therefore cooler...passed a few hours washing soggy towels (hatch left open
again), playing cards and generally living boat life.
No. 2 says Hello by the way, He seems unusually shy
re: this blogging lark but maybe he just thinks "I'm *********** if I am going
to write the sort of ******* she puts up there.
The sun is soon to set, the crew, having fed
(Paella no less) are readying themselves for their various watch stints...and
hoping for no drama during their particular allocated 3 hours. I am
on a good one - 9-midnight. We are ambling along and life is
good.
