Julie and Mike had a swim before we weighed anchor and departed Cala de San Pedro at 9:15 under motor in light winds, making our way 48NM to the marina at Almerimar, berthing stern-to at 3:30pm. An old marina but good setup and very well priced, we were effectively on the town quay with shops and tavernas nearby. We connected to shore power to run the air-conditioning overnight. I checked in at the office, returned and we had an Aperol Spritz before showering then heading into the taverna and shopping precinct. Very good set up. Another excellent seafood dinner over a good local white wine. Back to boat relatively early, for an early kip to recover from the disruptive sleep the previous night due to the swell.
