Coming down the SE coast of Ibiza towards Formentera the number of boats of all sorts increased dramatically. It appeared to be peak hour with boats travelling both ways between the islands. Approaching the anchorage north of the main port we encountered dozens
of yachts and motor vessels, and it took a couple of attempts to lay the anchor amongst them. Finally secured, we had a dip in the crystal clear warm water then a rinse at the stern of the boat. After an Aperol Spritz we took the dinghy ashore for a very good
selection of tapas. Locating the boat returning at night took some work given the dozens of crowded yachts with anchor lights. We had referenced a building ashore to get the approximate position so all good. Calm anchorage apart from swell from ferry boats.
