Enjoyed a meal at a taverna ashore last night before returning for a calm night in the inland saltwater lake that is very well protected from the swell. We departed Mesalongi around 10:30 am, heading down the channel past the various fishing jetties that line the channel. Not long out of the channel the winds picked up to plus 20knts on the nose as we tacked our way west out of Gulf of Patraikos.

Given the winds from the west, we decided against going over to Kefalonia and headed north out of the Gulf of Patraikos in protected waters,

tying off at the town Quay at Astokos, on the mainland, about 16:30.
