Made our way back to the dinghy, where we weighed anchor and motor sailed around to Punta Longo, which is a small bay on the south side of the island, protected from the prevailing northerly wind. Laid the anchor in 7m water with 35m of scope at 5:15pm after
a 7NM motor sail. We will now have a swim before embracing GnT or an Apperol Spritz before we go to shore in the dinghy and check out the couple of tavernas nearby.
Started the generator to put a load of washing on, then we went for a swim to the small pebble beach 150m from our position. Returned, rinsed off at the stern. Had a GnT then we set up the clothes line and hung out the washing in fairly strong winds before
taking the dinghy ashore at 8pm. No jetty on the west side of the point so we tied of to rocks. Walked to one the few restaurants at Punta Longa, good Sicilian food.
Returned in millpond conditions for a relatively early night.
