First thing we got to and stripped the linen, several loads of washing, vacuum and clean the inside of the boat. I went with Pon and Joe to the marina taxi rank to see them off. Always great company and very helpful. Very much appreciate them taking time during their European holiday to spend some days on the boat with me. Then did some shopping, returned to the boat to continue preparing for the arrival of neice, Catherine Costello, and friend Zimi Meka. Catherine arrived by taxi from the airport around 8:30pm. After dropping her bags at the boat we went to Zorbas for dinner. I slept on deck, which I prefer, Catherine has the stern cabin.

25 June

In the morning Catherine and I gave the boat a wash and hose down, also did the dinghy. We made up the forward cabin for Zimi. We cleared Gouvia marina at midday, motoring outside the marina, dropped the anchor and took the dinghy to the fuelling quay to top up the dinghy tank. Returned, lifted dinghy then made our way under motor to Ormos Garitas. We had a 400m swim to the Fort wall and back, then headed into NAOK marina to pick up Zimi at 3:30, then hand over our passports to the agent to process through customs and border control for our departure from the EU to Sarande, Albania Thursday morning. After getting Zimi settled on Westralia we returned to NAOK and walked into the old town, Corfu, for a late lunch and some supplies. We returned to the boat for a siesta. The agent dropped off the passports and paperwork around 7pm. In the evening we had  a GnT before having a late dinner at NOAK rooftop restaurant.
