In the morning Joe and I laid the chain out on the timber key alongside the boat, in 10m loops. We then brushed the loops with detergent and fresh water, allowed time to dry and then spray painted the loops in white acrylic paint. This would allow us to visually check the rode until such time as the AA560 was fixed. We then headed to the Calypso cave, taking the dinghy into the cave and exploring inside. Quite spectacular. Now about to leave for Nisos Mathraki.

 

Chain paint marks every 10m to indicate rode laid, until the AA560 rode measurement issue is resolved.
