Lovely sail today with 13 to 16 knots of wind and reasonably calm seas---starting with a beam reach and ending with a close reach. 23 miles from the uninhabited Warderick Wells to Staniel Cay where we understand there are 3 shops! We will find out tomorrow. Quite a current flowing in the passes---at one stage over 3 knots adverse to negotiate round the reefs. Swirling waters. Looked at the moorings off the “Yacht Club” but too shallow for my liking so headed round to anchor off Big Majors Spot island---reputed to be inhabited by swimming pigs, though we haven’t seen any yet.
