So we spent a few days chilling, doing the heavy provisioning—water, beer dry and frozen foods etc—and in the evenings eating in restaurants with live music—-these islands and Mindelo in particular are known for their music! On the 15th we took the ferry to Santo Antao and did some mountain hiking staying for a couple of nights in a guesthouse. It’s a spectacular island with amazing mountain formations created by ancient volcanic activity.
Plan to set off across the ocean later this week.
