We left the excellent Admiral marina in Port
Dickson on Tuesday, heading north-west up the Mallacca Straits. Last night we
were anchored in the estuary leading to Port Klang--the busiest port in
Malaysia--nice calm anchorage, though not scenic!! Then up early this
morning for an 0700 start and a long passage up the coast, now anchored at the
mouth of the Bernam River. And tomorrow we have a much more leisurely passage up
to Pangkor marina, where we will stay until the 20th.
Good sailing yesterday, but had to motor sail most
of today as had to put over 70 miles under us during daylight. Hopefully
tomorrow will be good sailing weather.
Nice chicken curry just about to be served up--so
must run!
