We arrived in Martinique on 9th January, after
Michele had flown home on the 8th. Lovely fast reach across to Le Marin--stayed
in the marina for a couple of nights to reprovision in the French
supermarkets--and then off to find some more peace at anchor. Spent a couple of
days anchored off St Anne's--good anchorage and lovely little town, but water
not so clear. So now anchored in Anse D'Arlet--lovely swimming and snorkelling
in crystal clear water and what looks like a lovely little village on the
beach--and the book says a good restaurant Creole style--we'll head ashore soon
to see.
