A very mixed sailing day!! Some good, fast
sailing--at other times no wind nand under engine. Some sun, but a lot of cloud
and heavy showers. However this unsettled weather is expected until we get south
to the trade winds--hope we'll be picking them up tomorrow evening.
We covered 150 miles in our first day--not bad,
given we wasted some time re-packing the cruising chute and had a very unsettled
night with engine on and off as the wind changed strength. So only about 2900
miles to go!!
All is well.
