We arrived at St Lucia yesterday at 1900--crossing
the finishing line in the dark. A welcoming group were on the pontoon as we
moored up--complete with rum punches, baskets of fruit etc. And by 2030 we were
in a restaurant having dinner and celebrating a successful Atlantic crossing--a
long and liquid evening.
And did we sleep last night! Amazing to be in a bed
that's not rolling all over the place.
Today started with a crew breakfast in the
restaurant and a gradual tidying up of the boat--changing to a better berth,
sorting electrics and water etc. Big laundry on its way. But off to a beach
party this evening.
