is shining! We opted for the Monte Real Club de Yates rather than the new
marina--and we feel we made the right choice--wifi working on the
boat--and free--and the club itself is excellent and good food.
We enjoyed having Alex, Andrew and Emma on board for a week--I guess the
highlight was the 2 days spent anchored off the Islas Cies--a lovely
anchorage, the sun shone and it was quiet when the day-trippers left.
Great views from the lighthouse which was not such a hard climb as it
initially looked.
From there we went to Vigo--on reflection Baiona might have been
better--and took the train to Santiago de Compostela for a day--a must!
There we left A,A&E who were flying home from Santiago following morning.
And that morning Ger and I sailed the all of 10 miles to Baiona for a few
days. Expect to set off for Portugal tomorrow.
