Local lady farmer!
  19th April
Sun looks as if it is here to stay for a few
days so took the opportunity to walk around the area of Sami! Met some
interesting characters along the way!
20th April
Awoken in the night by the Port Police, someone had
not only stolen one lamp post but two from the quayside!!! They were asking us
if we had seen any thing suspicious!!! Mark said that he had heard people
laughing and that was enough for them we had to report to the Port Police office
at 8pm that night!! Typical as we have not as yet booked in!!!
Later that day thelamp posts were found
sitting at the bottom of the harbour, someone had thrown them in 'just for a
laugh'.
Port Police still wanted us to come to their
office!
 Scrathing of heads as to where the lamp posts have disappeared
to!  Found the lamp
post it had' fallen in the water'! We went later that night as requested to fill out a
statement,saying not very much as we had not seen anything except heard some
voices! The Port Police were very nice and as we were helping them with their
enquiries they said we need not pay for our stay in Sami, what nice
people!!
